Week 7 wraps up with a clash between the 49ers and Vikings in Minnesota. It’s a game that looked much better on the schedule before the season started, now marred by injuries. San Francisco comes into Monday night with the hopes of avenging their lo s in Week 6, their first of the season. Meanwhile the Vikings are still trying to climb out of the ma sive hole they dug themselves to start the campaign. They’ll be tasked with doing that without the services of Justin Jefferson, who is on injured reserve. The Niners haven’t escaped the injury bug either, marching into battle with a hampered Christian McCaffrey and Deebo Samuel, who both may or may not play. Instead we are going to trust that Purdy plays a big role in a game we believe the 49ers will win. Uncertainty is clouding the San Francisco backfield, with McCaffrey’s healthy being in question. Instead we’ll trust the remarkable consistency of Purdy, who owns a 10-1 touchdown-to-interception ratio on the season, averaging 18.7 fantasy points per game. Considering he always has the ball in his hands, Purdy will be tested without his star running back at full strength and he seems poised to deliver.FLEX TE T.J. Hockensen, Vikings ($8,800)Our first entrant from the Minnesota sideline comes in the form of Hockensen, who should be heavily involved with Jefferson out for the foreseeable future. The Vikings are already a pa s-first offense and will likely be forced to throw even more with a negative game script. He is the most-targeted tight end this season with 47 and a trusted weapon for Cousins to turn to. Life won’t be Jonas Brodin Jersey easy against the stout Niners’ defense, but Hockensen is averaging 12.9 fantasy points per game, making him one of the most consistent and reliable players that isn’t dealing with an injury in this game.FLEX WR Jordan Addison, Vikings ($7,600)Speaking of a banged up offense, Addison also figures to continue seeing a nice workload. The rookie hasn’t been eased into NFL action like it seemed to be originally planned, but Addison has grown up fast, seeing 34 targets over his first six games. Scoring touchdowns in back-to-back weeks, Addison can be trusted when called upon to make plays. He’s also surpa sed his teammate, K.J. Osborn in targets and is second behind only Hockensen amongst Vikings that will play on Monday night. Expect Cousins to look for that duo if Minnesota is looking for points to catch up.FLEX TE George Kittle, 49ers ($7,200)We have finally arrived at our player to stack with Purdy and it’s none other than the founder of Erik Haula Jersey National Tight Ends Day himself, Kittle. For him, it’s a holiday weekend and a good matchup to get back into the end zone. The Vikings are allowing the fifth-most touchdowns per game to tight ends on average, including Travis Kelce to score once and Donald Parham Jr. to score twice. Even if Deebo Samuel plays, we can’t expect him to be at full strength either. Lean into the narrative and trust that Kittle can put forth a good performance in prime time.FLEX RB Jordan Mason, 49ers ($5,800)This is a pick we like whether McCaffrey plays or not. Mason has scored touchdowns in two straight weeks and seen 15 carries over that span. Efficiency has been there for the running back in a limited role as he seems to be Ryan Suter Jersey the preferred choice over Elijah Mitchell right now. Figuring out a Kyle Shanahan backfield can cause even the calmest people to lose their cool, but all signs point to Mason. Perhaps that means we should opt for Mitchell instead, but Mason has been the guy when McCaffrey needs a break. He should be able to be productive regardle s of what happens with the injury report.FLEX D/ST 49ers ($5,000)Rounding out our lineup is the 49ers’ defense, the best unit in this game. San Francisco should be able to shut down Minnesota’s rushing attack and feast on their horrific offensive line. Those sacks will translate into fumbles, especially for a Vikings’ team that is tied for the most fumbles per game with 2.2.
