Special delivery.The Ravens got back to winning ways on Sunday, vanquishing the Titans 24-16 in the final NFL London game of 2023. The biggest reason why? Special teams, as it turned out.Baltimore was fueled by multipolarity, showing flits of liveline s on both offense and defense. And yet, it was with the specialists that John Harbaugh’s squad really shone. Justin Tucker sank six field goals, Baltimore’s gunners scooped up a muffed punt and Devin Duvernay netted a 70-yard return to captivate audiences acro s the pond in London Town.Lamar Jackson was fairly effective, looking comfortable Royce O’Neale Jersey as he dealt from inside the pocket. Todd Monken’s new system fits him like a glove, allowing him the freedom to leave defenders in the mist on open terrain while also giving Jackson an opportunity to showcase his golden arm when the pre sure mounts. And although Jackson’s numbers leave something to be desired he completed 21 of 30 pa ses for 223 yards, one touchdown and one interception it was a largely composed performance by the big-money man from Louisville.Much was the same for Baltimore’s defense, which by and large scuppered Tenne see’s attacking threat. Derrick Henry and Tyjae Spears were formidable foes, both of whom sliced through Charm City’s Purple People Eaters on chunk plays.But the Ravens fared well against the pa s, picking off Ryan Tannehill. And when Tannehill went to the sideline with an ankle injury, Baltimore turned the screw, making backup Malik Willis’ life a living hell in the fourth quarter.MORE: Ultimately, though, it was the Ravens’ special teams that proved, well, special. Tucker was ebullient, placing each of his attempts through the uprights. He was far from the only one, though. From the gunners on the kick team to the blockers defending punter Jordan Stout, there was a real rhythm flowing throughout Baltimore’s le s-heralded players. And it came up trumps in the end: Tucker’s points alone were enough to claim victory.
